The Slavic Community Center, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in California. Over the past 30 years, we have dedicated ourselves to assisting more than 250,000 immigrants from diverse backgrounds, including those from the former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Africa, and Asia.
Our mission is crucial within the local immigrant community. Non-English speakers face unique challenges in their daily lives and require translation and interpretation support. Our dedicated staff is available Monday through Friday, responding to over 50 calls daily from individuals seeking assistance. We also provide emergency support during weekends.
We recognize the specific needs of seniors and non-English speakers, who often grapple with sickness, loneliness, stress, depression, and financial constraints, hindering their assimilation. We offer comprehensive assistance to individuals from all walks of life, including youth and young families, with educational programs covering crime prevention, drug awareness, and prison rehabilitation.
To further enhance our community impact, we collaborate with other non-profit organizations, law enforcement agencies, and local courts. Your financial contributions are invaluable in sustaining our services and expanding our outreach. By supporting us, you enable us to hire and train two additional staff members specializing in community services and public relations.
